Vaughn the Dog needs a home
Vaughn was born in 2010, but he is only just learning to be a dog. Before coming to Best Friends from a rescue organization in California, he lived his whole life in a shelter environment. While he's a little shy and fearful with strangers at first, he is warming up to Dogtown caregivers and volunteers. Vaughn has a very soulful face that will melt your heart. He is very well behaved and even a little subdued, but he is proving that he will blossom if given a chance. He had a previous case of mange, which has left his coat patchy on his legs. Vaughn is picky with his doggie friends. He is working on crate training and socialization with his caregivers. Although he will need a patient person who will allow him to overcome any initial shyness, he really deserves a loving home to call his own.
